Result Properties

While viewing a Result you will be able modify the various properties of a Result using the inline edit buttons. Each property is listed out below with a description of its purpose.

1. The General properties edit button appears at the top of the Result page and allows you to edit the name and tags for the Result.

  • Name - The name of the Result
  • Tags - This object can have tags added to it. In various lists and reports you can use tags as a filter for finding the scorecard objects you want. Tags also help you keep track of scorecard objects that have the same name but belong to different geographical regions, departments, etc.
    • Most scorecard objects will only need one tag but you can have up to 5 tags. The tag that appears first in the list is the primary tag that will display with the scorecard object. The other tags are used for categorization and allow the object to show up when those tags are selected in the tags filter. To reorder the tags just drag and drop in the tag entry box.

2. The Relationships Section provides access to maintaining the Result relationships. The available relationships that a Result can have in Clear Impact Scorecard are:

  • Scorecard - The Scorecard/Result relationship causes the Result to be displayed on the related Scorecard. Any Indicators or nested Programs that are related to the Result will also be displayed on the Scorecard. If the Scorecard is shared on Partner Connect or has Embed enabled then the Result and its Indicators and nested Programs will also inherit those properties.
  • Indicator - The Result/Indicator relationship causes the Indicator to display on the Result. The Indicator can be viewed on the Result presentation view in the Indicators section. The Indicator will also display under the Result on any Scorecards that the Result is linked to.
  • Program - The Result/Program relationship signifies that the Program has a direct impact on the Result. This causes the Program to display under the Result on the Scorecard as a "Nested Program". This is in contrast to most Programs that are directly related to the Scorecard and show an indirect relationship to a group of Results that are often on the Scorecard also.
  • Action - The Result/Action relationships signifies that the linked Action is in somehow driving the success of this Result. This relationship will cause the Action to be displayed on the Result at the bottom of the Result presentation view in the Specific Actions section.

3. The Files attachments section lists out files that are linked to this Result. You can upload as many files as you want. Click on a file name to download the file or the upload button to add more. File type icons display next to the filename.
