Clear Impact Scorecard has 8 Scorecard Columns available for customization. These columns display information about data values in a at-a-glance format on the Scorecard page as well as Result and Program presentation pages. For additional background data and full analysis, open the measure Turn-the-Curve page for a measure by clicking on it's name.

Scorecard columns can be toggled on and off on the Scorecard Edit page for each individual Scorecard based on its audience.

Important Note: Due to the size of modern monitors and all the other information that needs to be displayed on a Scorecard, only 6 columns can be enabled at any single time. You can easily toggle the columns on/off for different audiences if needed on the Scorecard Edit page.

Scorecard Column Definitions

Most Recent Period

The Most Recent Period column displays the time period for the corresponding Current Actual Value, Current Target Value, Current Trend and Baseline % Change. If the time period shown is a quarter then you know that the corresponding columns are for quarterly data and the same goes for months or years.

Prior Period Actual Value

The Prior Period Actual Value displays the Actual Value for a measure for one time period in the past before the Most Recent Period column. If a color band exists for the Actual Value it will display as the background color.

Current Actual Value

The Current Actual Value column displays the Actual Value for a measure for the time period denoted in the Most Recent Period column. If a color band exists for the Actual Value it will display as the background color.

Current Target Value

The Current Target Value column displays the Target Value for a measure for the time period denoted in the Most Recent Period column.

Next Period Target Value

The Next Period Target Valuedisplays the Target Value for a measure for one time period into the future beyond the Most Recent Period column.

Next Period Forecast Value

The Next Period Forecast Value displays the forecasted value for a measure for one time period into the future beyond the Most Recent Period column. Forecast values can be configured using the graph of each measure.

Current Trend

The Current Trend column displays the current trend of the Actual Values for a measure. A green arrow indicates a good direction and a red arrow indicates a bad direction. The coloring of these arrows is determined by the polarity of the measure. The number next to the arrow indicates how many periods this trend has been continuing for. If the measure is quarterly then a 2 would mean that for two quarters the trend has been going in that direction. If the measure is annually a 2 would mean that for two years the trend has been going in that direction.

Baseline % Change

The Baseline % Change column displays the % change of the actual value from the baseline period for the measure it is in line with. The baseline period is the first year that an actual value has been entered for if one has not been selected manually. Baseline % Change is defined by the following equation: [(Current Actual Value - First Entered Actual Value)/First Entered Actual Value]. A green arrow represents a good direction and a red arrow indicates a bad direction based on the measure's polarity.

Variance from Target

The variance from target column displays the magnitude of variance that the current actual value is away from the current target value.  The column is defined by the following equation: ([Actual Value] - [Target Value]) / [Target Value].
